Breathwork, Meditation and Mental Coaching

In these sessions we focus on the different influences that breathing has on our consciousness and our body. We build a useful meditation training, that allows you to meditate effectively on your own, as well as  a fitting mental training. What does Breathwork mean?

Conscious breathing is playing an essential role in the body’s overall physical and emotional wellbeing. It is a highly effective communication transmitter between body and mind.


Through controlled breathing exercises, we influence our nervous system, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which relaxes the body and breaks down stress hormones. Deep breathing also leads to better cell oxygenation, cell regeneration, detoxification and balances hormone levels. Our respiratory system improves immensely and we strengthen our immune system. 

Conscious breathing is also essentially for your mental state. It helps you to improve your positive thought patterns, your mood and self esteem. How we breathe indicates how we feel. You can learn to manage stress, acute/chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, depression, trauma and grief.

With Yogic breathing we increase also the flow of Prana (Life Energy) in our energy channels Nadis. These are similar and well known in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as meridians for acupuncture.

With Breathwork, we can activate for example our main energy channels (Ida, Pingala and Shushumna) and release energy blockages within our body.

An effective breathing pattern brings more lung capacity and increases energy levels in everyday life. But also for athletes breathwork is essential for physical and mental recovery and increasing the performance. During my yoga education in India, I was introduced to many Indian and Tibetan breathing techniques, which we can use specifically to focus on your needs. They are one of the fundamental parts of my own daily Yoga practice.

Meditation: Through my schooling to become a meditation trainer in an indian Ashram and further mediataions teachings in India, Bali and Germany am I able to offer you an effective meditaion training that enables you to focus clearer and improve your reactions in demanding situations. You become more balanced and effective in life.
